Introducing The Premise
The chance of a lifetime to design and run your very own bar

WHO: Drambuie
WHAT: The Premise – Create and run your own bar in Sydney
WHEN: Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday for 3 weeks from 06 October to 22 October
WHERE: A top secret location near the iconic Sydney Harbour. Venue to be announced on 16 September 2011.

Drambuie will be the alcohol brand on everyone's lips for the month of October, when the 2nd installment of The Premise launches.

The Premise from Drambuie gives one winner a 'shot' of a lifetime to make their vision for the ultimate bar, come true.

With a capacity of 120, the venue is poised ready for transformation into one of Sydney's hottest locations. From a design dream to absolute reality, the winner's vision will come to life as the most talked about bar in the city.

HOW TO ENTER THE COMPETITION
• Inspired by Drambuie's core values - Risk, Rebellion, Passion and Mystery – Participants are invited to design their own, unique bar.
• Participants are to film and upload a short, two minute video, demonstrating their concept/idea to The Premise web page www.thepremise.com.au.
• The public will then vote online for their favourite bar. Drambuie encourages networking via friends, family, colleagues and social media to ensure each entry gets as many votes as possible.
• The five highest voted entries and five wildcards will become finalists.
• The ten finalists will then be asked to pitch their ideas to The Premise judging panel.
• The lucky winner will be flown to Sydney to work with The Drambuie production team and go full steam ahead to bring the winning concept to life. The bar itself will trade on nine separate nights over a three week period.

The winner of The Premise will receive a $10,000 cash prize and will be given a bar manager, security, alcohol supplies, bar equipment, bar facilities and staff…in fact absolutely everything they will need to run 'The Premise.'

The 2010 winners of The Premise from Drambuie were Industrial Designer, Rob Dumaresq and musician, Hugh Gurney. They impressed the panel with their speakeasy style concept, which was set behind the facade of a pet shop, called 'The Doghouse'.

"The Premise gave us the chance to explore our creativity in ways that neither of us had ever done before," said Rob. "The entire experience was exciting and stimulating and at every step of the way we were developing fresh ideas, learning new skills and meeting new people - an unforgettable experience!"

Entries to The Premise are now open at www.thepremise.com.au. Log on to The Premise Facebook page to follow news and details about the competition.
