New Shanghai comes to Bondi Junction

Growing restaurant brand New Shanghai has just opened a new venue in Westfield Bondi Junction. The venue is designed by Giant Design.

Centrally located on the fifth floor of the Westfield shopping mall, the new location offers those in the Eastern Suburbs an opportunity to experience the dumplings and Shanghainese cuisine New Shanghai has become famed for - in a casual, takeaway setting. The Bondi Junction menu features a selection of the New Shanghai favourites.

In line with the new generation of New Shanghai restaurants, the look is sleek and sophisticated, with the use of glossy black brick and marble creating a moody feel. A New Shanghai signature, there is a live dumpling making theatre, giving customers a look into the heart of the dumpling making action.

The Bondi Junction restaurant is the fifth edition to the expanding New Shanghai brand, which has existing locations in Chatswood Chase, Lemon Grove, Ashfield and Charlestown in Newcastle. And there are more on the way – New Shanghai is set to open in Singapore and Shanghai itself early in the New Year.
