Whitecliffe Imports at AMF

Whitecliffe Imports has supplied 5,405 m² of carpet tile for AMF Bowling Centres around Australia. AMF Bowling Centres house state of the art ten-pin bowling equipment along with entertainment facilities, games arcade and up to the minute sound systems, café & bars.

Creative Design Vision
The designs created by Julia Fayle, focused on upgrading the facilities making them more contemporary and creating an appealing environment. "Each new centre has a range of feature colours which vary centre to centre. We want the carpet to be a feature and most 'off the shelf' carpets are very bland in their colours. Our centres are smart but vibrant and we needed to custom the carpets to suit each individual colour pallet and make AMF Bowling unique" said Julia.

Whitecliffe Services
AMF's brief was delivered to Whitecliffe Imports to engineer and manufacture the iconic, versatile, contemporary carpet tile. The desired effect was to lift the aesthetic, lower the maintenance cost, and withstand traffic of 2,000 per hour.

Whitecliffe Imports provided a full project management service to the client for the refurbishment. This included Modular Express's City Light design archive for inspiration, hand trial sampling 20x30cm and actual carpet tile 50x50cm, and to oversee the carpet installation.

Modular Express Custom City Lights 100% Nylon with attached mix bac was chosen to fulfill the brief and was subsequently installed in the lobbies, and corridors.
