OK, a hair salon is stretching the word 'venue' but this one is a corker.

Located in the heart of St Kilda, Spunky Fox provides a luxurious environment akin to a Collins St Boutique with all the services commensurate with a high level of style. Located in a majestic, iconic, St Kilda building complete with tower, the salon occupies the entire first floor.

The interiors, designed by SJB Interiors, boast exquisite period details with contemporary furnishings, art works and feature chandeliers.

From the entry, the grand stair is viewed through an intense red/orange foyer. The walls are deep onyx with crisp white architectural details. Personality mirrors and art provide an eclectic St Kilda energy – in a ‘London’ grand style.

The spaces, bathed in northern light are fashioned with dark floorboards and white plantation shutters. Four metre high ceilings and grand detailing are contrasted with stylish furniture in silver grey velvets and ice blues. Original Helmut Newton prints style the walls, along with cactus plants and hanging sculptures. The overall feel is cosmopolitan and edgy, but also somewhat traditional.
