New designs from Yellow Goat
Lorica

Each of the 14 CNC cut and polished aluminium composite circular screens is an artwork in its own right. Referencing Greek, Roman and Aboriginal designs, this piece is at once stunningly beautiful and overwhelming in its scale. The rolled circular forms are 1200mm in diameter - each is suspended separately from the others, yet by virtue of the strength of its design each demands to be heard. A timeless piece.

Mi Piaci

We wanted a slightly industrial looking piece - not too slick yet not too coarse. The clear acrylic bands are bolted together. The light source is a 400mm diameter opal sphere tucked up inside a 900mm dia spun aluminium dome (see the Cupola on our website). I think we succeeded nicely.

Viola

The hat parade on Melbourne Cup Day has nothing on this quite lyrical piece. At 1200mm in diameter the screen is cut from acrylic in almost any colour, then heat formed to a very stylish angle around a perfectly white sphere. Also available in metal finishes. Design: Adriana Arboleda.


Nashi

Each one a free-form construct of acrylic blades lit by a sandblasted glass ball filled with LED bi-pins.
