Manly Wine by Gazebo opens


Lauded for reinvigorating the wine and dining landscape in the city’s East, the creators of the Gazebo Wine Garden and Surry Hills hot spot The Winery have delivered their winning formula to Sydney’s Northern neighbours with the launch of Manly Wine. Manly Wine is sure to charm locals and visitors alike with a beachside imagining of the groups renowned wine concept, delicious and accessible food in a relaxed yet whimsical interior.



This après sun and surf location is positioned at the southern end of famed Manly Beach. The light filled venue, perched at the front of the Sebel Hotel, has a facade made entirely of white framed retractable doors that will allow warm coastal air to envelope drinkers and diners alike. The interior features white ceiling shingles, animal hide couches and banquettes. Sunny, colourful mosaic tiled flooring leads to a vertical wall mounted garden of flourishing ferns and lush greenery.

Fresh from establishing The Winery as one of the city’s busiest and most successful kitchen, Heidi Flanagan will be leading the charge as Head Chef. Manly Wine’s kitchen will deliver an honest yet highly desired menu that will travel effortlessly from beachcombers in bikinis and board shorts through to those seeking a more sophisticated dining experience. Plenty of seafood, Italian styled mixed plate and proven weekly specials, such as the Girls Picnic, are sure to wow the local palates.



Manly Wine will proudly house an Italian made enomatic wine system; this sophisticated piece of equipment will allow sommelier Tom Glenwright to present over 50 of the country’s most coveted tipples by the glass.

Manly Wine also boasts several fully private function spaces complete with unbeatable coastal views. The highly experienced function team will be able to tailor packages to suit all occasions from corporate events through to beachside weddings.
