Helm's Lower Deck now open

Now open to the public, Helm Bar’s ‘Lower Deck’ is the latest addition to the vibrant Darling Harbour social scene.

Situated directly beside the existing Helm Bistro on the Cockle Bay waterfront, the Helm team brings the same sense of vibrancy and casual elegance to the table with this brand-new offering. Lower Deck makes maximum use of the Darling Harbour energy with ample outdoor seating and a timber outdoor bar. Large umbrellas and nautical style bollards work in harmony with the surrounding setting while maintaining the sense of style for which Helm Bar is renowned. With its prime waterside location a lure for passers by; the cool drinks list, moreish food and upbeat vibe ensures Lower Deck is set to become a buzzing new destination for Sydney socialising.

General Manager of Helm Bar, Daniel Altshuler, says: “The concept of this new bar was to create a beer garden where people can meet to dine and drink while enjoying the amazing outlook. It has been a lot of work, but I am ecstatic with the finished product. Our next step is to get locking down entertainment to sweeten the deal.”
