Captain Cook gets $4 million facelift

Stamford Grand North Ryde has announced that its restaurant will receive a four million dollar overhaul to emerge as Captain Cook’s Cove in September of this year.

The four and a half star restaurant will receive new floor-to-ceiling windows, a contemporary nautical theme featuring black stone bench tops with illuminated onyx panels, open spaces framed with light stone walls, screens and vibrant modular lounges.

Captain Cook’s Cove will also offer a new menu which, like the patron of the moniker, will aim to “discover the flavours of the world”. This will take form in modern international brasserie cuisine during the week and a seafood buffet on weekends.

Quick, produce-driven, fresh meals will also be available all day from a bar area to provide business diners with speedy lunch options.

“The restaurant is known for the grand seafood buffet, and we’re not taking that away. However, now that we have this sophisticated multi-million dollar kitchen, Captain Cook’s Cove can offer a culinary journey of world flavours,” said general manager, Paul Gallop.

Stamford Grand North Ryde will also be offering complimentary parking to all restaurant patrons.
