Woods Bagot wins masterplan for Hilton Adelaide

Hilton Hotels & Resorts and Woods Bagot continue their strong relationship to create a visionary masterplan for Hilton Adelaide; the key philosophy is to create fresh guest experiences that respond to today's consumer needs.

The Hilton is one of the city's most prestigious hotels and is recognised internationally due to partnering with events such as the Tour Down Under and the hotel's creation of campaigns such as 'Seriously South Australian'®.

The project will include a complete masterplan of the hotel's ground floor - comprising Food and Beverage (F&B), retail, check in/out and concierge services.

"We are thrilled to be working with Hilton Adelaide, enabling them to continue to evolve their core offerings and surpass user expectations" said Rosina Di Maria, Principal, Woods Bagot.

The masterplan project is underway with a visioning workshop recently held in the Woods Bagot Adelaide studio.

The combined project team including Hilton personnel such as the Asia-Pacific Director of F&B Operations and Hilton's Executive Chef, as well as a leading food critic, collaborated productively in the workshop.

"Some discussions in the visioning workshop included the changing landscape of the F&B industry, global trends in consumer requirements and the future of guest services and hotel offerings," continued Rosina.

The recent win of the Hilton Adelaide and the completion of the Hilton Melbourne South Wharf, illustrates Woods Bagot's continuing relationship with the Hilton Hotels & Resorts.

Proclaimed as one of the country's pre-eminent design awards program, Woods Bagot and NH Architecture showcased their design excellence when presented as the 'Overall Winner' Best Hospitality Interior, for the Hilton Melbourne South Wharf at the idea10 Awards.

Woods Bagot will deliver the masterplan in mid 2011.
