New Turbosound Milan M18 Subwoofer

Turbosound have released a companion subwoofer for the popular Milan M15. The new Milan M18 sub is a self-powered single 18" bandpass subwoofer which can be used both with the Milan M15 full range enclosure and with other systems.

The M18 is constructed from 15mm laminated plywood and is supplied with wheels attached for easy transportation. The internal 1000w amplifier features two input channels with both link and high-passed outputs. The two inputs allow a stereo feed (when only one sub is used) to be connected directly to the sub, high-passed and fed through to the stereo mid-high cabinets. The left and right signals are summed within the subwoofer through a low-pass filter to the 18" driver. A sub level control is provided in order to achieve the desired balance between the subwoofer and Milan mid-high cabinets.

The Milan M15 (15"/1" moulded full range enclosure) has received rave reviews for it's performance and it's extended frequency response. Adding the new M18 sub to the system takes it to a whole new level. The M18 and M15 combination will keep even the most bass-hungry DJ's happy. Of course the applications are endless with installations, driveway hire and live bands being other key markets.

The M18 features a user selectable 80Hz and 125Hz filters and a phase switch enabling the sub to be used with a range of mid-high cabinets and systems.

The 10000w Class D amplifier features sophisticated signal processing which provides limiting functions to ensure high performance and long term reliability. Status LEDs indicate mains power, signal present and signal limit. A pole mount socket is fitted to allow Milan M15 or other mid-high cabinets to be mounted on optional 35mm speaker poles.
