The EasyUp Downlight is a revolutionary lighting system that enables you to replace down light globes with your feet planted safely on the ground, eliminating the need for ladders, reducing the chance of injuries.

It sounds simple, but EasyUp brings innovation and excitement to the design and lighting world. The EasyUp Downlight is a unique system developed by Australian inventor, Bradley Wein. Like all inventors, Wein had a “light bulb moment” while observing the dangerous lengths and difficulties people were having changing downlight globes. This resulted in t he invention of EasyUp. Wein realized that there had to be a better way to do something as simple as changing a globe – enter EasyUp.

Australian designed and owned EasyUp is a fully integrated system with specially designed downlights and globe changing wand working in unison. It features an innovative magnetic coupling that holds the globe firmly in place. Only to be used in conjunction with EasyUp downlights, the EasyUp Wand is used to safely exchange globes by magnetically gripping and removing the failed globes and replacing them with new ones. The EasyUp Wand extends to over two metres in length, so reaching downlights in high ceiling locations is safe and easy.

Fire safety is also an important feature of the EasyUp Downlights. The solid aluminum body and heat reduction safety hood eliminates the need for additional heat shielding. EasyUp's state of the art design greatly reduces the chance of heat related fires by allowing heat to be dispersed effectively. The EasyUp Downlight System has been designed to fit most commonly used downlight globes. EasyUp will continue to develop more products in the future to expand the system.

As with all lighting fixtures, EasyUp Downlights must be installed by a qualified electrician. Once installed, anyone from 8 to 88 can then change the globe from the safety of the ground in about thirty seconds!
