New Brighton Hotel comes in time for summer at Manly Corso

After a seven year planning and application process through the NSW court system, the construction phase of the New Brighton Hotel in Manly is progressing on schedule and is set to bring new business, employment opportunities and life back to the renowned Corso.

Inside the New Brighton, which will hold its post-refurbishment opening on 1 December, the spaces have been designed to recognise the classical history of the pub whilst creating four levels of dining, bars, function spaces and entertaining areas.

Designed to an 'industrial seaside' brief provided by hotel operator, the ALH Group, the property capitalises on its Corso position, offering 180 degree ocean views, unparalleled balcony and roof top areas as well as operable glass doors.

The outside area of ground floor bar is open to all locals and tourists day and night, while the first floor and its balcony will be more upmarket with exposed brickwork and carpet, a black and white theme throughout and can be transformed to hold functions up to 250 people. The second floor, SHARKBAR, will be more dark and moody, the exposed brickwork continues but reflects the industrial seaside brief and the third floor, ROOF TOP, will be an open space with scenic views and an atmosphere encouraging people to relax.

The new venue will be open seven days a week.
