Designer Rugs supporting new talent

Designer Rugs recently challenged young designers at the College of Fine Arts (COFA) to put their passion and enthusiasm to the test by designing a custom made rug. This is the fourth year that Designer Rugs have asked COFA's 60 third year students to design a rug that that epitomises the exceptional creativity and exclusivity of Designer Rugs.

The sensational designs put the judges under immense pressure. Nguyen's winning rug (pictured right) showed great depth with a well developed balance between commercial viability and luxury.

Nguyen's design was one of six finalists, all of whose designs showed great maturity and talent. A selection of these exclusive rugs will be custom made by Designer Rugs and launched in the Summer 2012 catalogue.
