The Deck Marina Bar & Restaurant is the vision of several directors of the Port Geographe Marina. In an effort to win back public support the tavern has undertaken a major revamp. The position, ambience, quality of food and first-rate customer service attracts a diverse crowd.
A stunning double-sided fireplace has been installed and is the centrepiece of the venue dividing the restaurant area from the marina bar. Comfortable leather lounges and colourful ottomons have been placed around the fireplace creating an ideal area for pre-dinner drinks or a casual bite to eat. The venue oozes a wonderful relaxed atmosphere where one can soak up the beauty of the marina waterfront.
The restaurant area has alfresco tables and booth-style seating whilst the marina bar has been outfitted with layered style high tables and low stools with wicker chairs around the windows providing guests with fantastic views of the marina and boats.

The fresh casual surroundings have been carried through to the sun drenched terrace where you can kick back and enjoy watching the marina boats and local dolphins coming and going.
A stage has been installed in the marina bar for live entertainment and DJ's. LCD screens along with Nightlife Music System provide guests with audio/visual entertainment.
When Darren Horne (General Manager) first approached Nightlife Music Video, it wasn't for the usual managed music and advertising solution. Darren was looking for visualisations to make the most of their range of screens. The brief: 'what displays on the screens is as important as the music when it comes to creating the right atmosphere'. From here, the Deck Bar Marina incorporated Nightlife's Ambient Visuals Channel which displays sophisticated moving images from a range of sources including - vintage film footage through to natural landscapes and extreme sports. The visualisations are categorised by COOL, WARM and HOT and set to play at different times of the day.
The right music naturally followed where Darren is able to use Nightlife's extensive library to program his selections to match the needs of his regulars but also respond to any sudden changes in clientele. The venue through its open spaces, great location and innovative design is also geared up to host a range of functions. Catering for large parties through to intimate gatherings. A simple tweak on the Nightlife HDMS (Hard Drive Music System) allows the team to match the music to the brief of the event.
Separate from ambient visuals and video clips, the visual element of digital advertising also comes into play. Upcoming events and venue specials are displayed on their own dedicated channel - cementing Nightlife's place as a critical ingredient in Deck Marina Bars exceptional offering.
