Langham Hotels International (LHI) has recently opened the Langham, Yangtze Boutique, Shanghai.
This is LHI’s first boutique hotel under The Langham brand, reflecting a legendary hotel heritage dating back to 1865 when the flagship The Langham, London originally opened.
This enchanting boutique hotel has been intelligently restored to its former glory while blending modern luxuries and conveniences. The Langham, Yangtze Boutique opened as an art deco masterpiece in the 1930s and was touted as “The Third Largest Hotel in the Far East” by the renowned architect, Li Pan.
The boutique hotel re-emerge with lavish art deco-inspired interiors designed by the award-winning Duncan & Miller Design. Its focus on symmetric patterns and sharp lines, rich colours as well as bold geometric shapes all combine to inject a classic, extravagant flair of Old Shanghai.
The hotel’s Art Deco heritage fused with a modern Shanghai residence inspires the interior design which captivates the senses and has a wink of surprise.
