Bromic at The Squire’s Landing

Mantle Group won the NSW Government tender to take the Overseas Passenger Terminal tenancy and now The Squire’s Landing occupies one of the most enviable hospitality locations in the world! Enjoying the Sydney Harbour Bridge on one side and uninterrupted views of the Sydney Opera House on the other.

The Squire’s Landing is a brewhouse with a major focus on food and, of course, James Squire beer. There’s a formidable menu of beer on tap, including an ever-changing offering brewed in-house by a Squire’s Landing full-time brewer.

With a restaurant license for 800 seats and some 400 of the capacity is alfresco, “We would lose almost 30% of our seating footprint if we didn’t have the appropriate heating solution.” said Adam McIlveen, General Manager.

The Bromic’s Platinum Smart-Heat gas heaters provide warmth in all the outdoor undercover areas both on the ground floor and the verandah on Level 1.

“We involved Bromic Heating in from the planning stage,” recalled Mr McIlveen. “We provided Bromic with our ideas and they came back with a detailed heating plan and recommendations.”

Special consideration and planning was needed with the proximity to the harbour, cool breezes and general weather unpredictability. Bromic’s Platinum Smart-Heat made the perfect choice with its patented design that provides superior wind resistance and even heat distribution.

The Squire’s Landing launched in the days leading up to Sydney’s Vivid festival. The kitchen, front of house staff and the Bromic outdoor heating were all instantly compelled to operate at full capacity, as the city flooded with visitors and activity. A baptism of fire? Sure. But Adam now has full confidence in the performance of his team… and his heating.
