Bermuda is one of the latest cafes to open in ECU Joondalup campus in 2018 and we were delighted to be selected to be part of their team as a furniture supplier. The concept behind Bermuda is to create a fresh Scandinavian styled cafe with clever use of pastel colours throughout the venue as a highlight feature. With this in mind, the Jersey dining chairs matched with wood-grained laminate dining tables and white frames were utilised and worked a charm in this design.

We were also tasked to fabricate some very unique designed booth seating with v-join paneling, detailed with 2 different paint colours and custom upholstery. To ensure the structural integrity and durability of these feature booth seating, the design and fabrication process were crucial to ensure it’s success. Solid Tassy Oak timber tops were used to complement the setting. In another section of the cafe, we provided fixed banquette seating upholstered in green vinyl which worked really well against the pink feature wall. We also supplied a 5 meter long custom designed feature hanging gantry to house potted plants above the booth seating area powder coated in Dulux Wedgewood finish.

Given the short lead time for this project, we managed to complete the task and met the client’s expectations within the given time frame. We’re very pleased with the outcome and the result speaks for itself.
