Caloundra RSL, was one of the most awarded clubs in Queensland a few years ago, bringing new concepts and ideas that made it a pioneer in their field.

After much success they felt it was time to keep moving forward introducing new designs and concepts into the club to ensure it remained a leader.

The first step was to contact James Richardson directly and seek advice on furniture layouts and trends to inject new life into their foyer and cafe. The partnership between Caloundra RSL and James Richardson resulted in providing the club with a vibrant organic new look that embraced natural colours and materials using clear finished Victorian Ash Tables, earthy green tones in matching upholstery, logo and coffee machines colour.

The new layout introduced Italian booth seating, pendant lighting and possibly one of the most comfortable chairs the Dixie armchair. New and existing clients of the club have welcomed the upgraded look and feel with open arms. It’s seen growth particularly in the younger demographics and become a popular spot for a coffee and light meal or at night for the new on tap wines. The furniture used in this upgrade is the Dixie Armchair, Modus Booth seating whilst the tables are Solid Vic Ash Tables on an Eden Base.
