JR at Eat Street Northshore

Eat Street is possibly one of the most exciting street markets in Queensland if not Australia. From what started as such humble beginning on an unused wharf in Hamilton, not even knowing how long they could be there or if people would turn up, has become this immensely popular destination now attracting 1000’s of people each weekend.

The only objective was to create something unique to Brisbane that was all about food, night and atmosphere. Three years on and the unused wharf was now ready for the develops to take over, so Eat Street moved East down the river and took the opportunity to increase it’s size to better accommodate it’s every growing market. The new Eat Street has incorporate an outdoor cinema, 3 live music stages, a seafood wharf, private dining and many more vendors.

Principles of Eat Street, John Harrison and John Stainton after recommendations from Michael Conrad of Newstead Brewery came directly to James Richardson to help provide the right furniture solutions. The “LaneWay Cabaret” has taken on a Parisian feel with the building facade and Paris chairs and tables which hosts breezy jazz bands and an intimate feel.  Whilst the Trawler Deck caters for clients with champagne and seafood  and incorporates a decommissioned trawler that has been brought back to life on the wharf edge to embrace the sea in which it once belonged. The East and West Wharf offers an extensive selection of general street food and drinks embracing the night life and lights.
