Amalgamated Holding Limited (AHL), operators of multi-award winning QT Hotels & Resorts, the Art Series Hotels and Rydges Hotel & Resorts, have expanded their hotel business with the opening of the first Atura Hotel in Blacktown. Atura Blacktown has been designed by renowned hotel designer Nic Graham with industrial inspiration taking modern functionality and form and marrying it with engaging embrace.
Expect the unexpected with extensive use of natural light, high ceilings, and a modern mix of materials to engage harmoniously with the natural surroundings. The serenity and composure of the semi-rural location prevail, guaranteeing whether its business or pleasure Atura delivers an extraordinary and surprising experience.
Bloom Chair by Calligaris
Using a mix of materials, such as solid beech wood for the frame and four legs and polycarbonate for the shell of the seat, has allowed us to achieve a durable, lightweight and ergonomic chair that’s design-savvy. The shape of the seat, rounded and snug, becomes at the same time a structural and decorative motif of the product.

Feltex Woven Carpet
The colourful, geometric shapes of the Feltex Woven wool blend carpet pop against the playful backdrop in the lobby area of the Atura Hotel. The clients brief was clear and concise, with the design spanning over 7 broadloom metres. Each panel was custom made to fit each area.
