The Sheraton Melbourne Hotel offers guests and locals an elegant destination restaurant and glamorous roof-top bar on Little Collins Street at the ‘Paris end’ of Collins Street in the heart of the city’s Central Business District (CBD).

Melbourne-based design studio powerhouse Hecker Guthrie, has created a space in Little Collins St Kitchen that pays homage to the grand European architecture and high-end retail outlets of neighbouring Collins Street whilst presenting an area that feels comfortable, welcoming and ultimately homely.

Design elements have been chosen to create a contemporary and domestic dining experience while retaining an element of theatre. American oak furniture is complemented with striking brass detailing, white tiles, Italian marble and dove grey accents. Flooded with natural light during the day, a series of pendant and feature lights allow the lighting to be zoned and dimmed to create a warm and inviting atmosphere in the evening.

The space is incredibly versatile with columns, banquettes and screens being used to create a flexible series of intimate dining areas. There is also a separate bar and lounge where guests can enjoy a pre or post meal drink.

Terrace Bar on level three of the hoteloffers an exquisite and contemporary designed outdoor setting with views overlooking Little Collins Street.  For local city workers seeking an after-work unwind or hotel guests looking to have a pre or post dinner drink in a relaxing and stylish setting, Terrace Bar is the ideal spot.  Comfortable seating areas, outdoor fireplaces and carefully selected music will provide Melbourne’s newest rooftop bar with a vibrant ambience in which to enjoy Melbourne’s city skyline.
