The brief for the Novotel’s refurbishment was threefold: to create a streamlined entry with street presence, enhance the visibility of the food and beverage offer to increase revenue, and create a multi-functional space that addresses the specific needs of the hotel’s brand.

The lounge, bar and restaurant have been remodelled to create a strong visual connection between all three areas. Carr’s design integrated a number of existing architectural elements to minimise cost.
