The Grand’s new stylish and sophisticated refurbishment has raised the bar for private events in Melbourne featuring three separate and flexible private dining rooms and a dedicated central bar.

Inspired by all of Alex Zabotto Bentley’s research trips to places like Buenos Aires, Barcelona and Santiago Chile, and coupled with his love for the artisan interior of old, The Grand Richmond features the same dedication and attention to detail as a classic old 1930’s hotel/bar.

Decorative wall mouldings, dado lines, gesso painted ceilings, press tin bar fascia, vintage sourced 1930’s light fixtures. A palette of matt 40’s grey with Wedgwood cream and black set off against the shine of the gunmetal car duco bars. Antiqueand vintage white bisque and porcelain objects feature in custom designed shelving, gold leaf signage and clusters of antique French and Italian framed mirrors
