The concept  for Vapiano  originates from Europe and has been brought to Australia by Will Cooke. It is an Italian pizza & pasta restaurant that operates with a relaxed casual environment and an emphasis on fresh produce.

Juicy were asked to take the original concept and further develop it for the Australian market place. It is a 700sqm fitout, spread over two levels with capacity for over 150 patrons.

Juicy was responsible for all of the internal fitout and branding and worked with project architects, Richmond & Ross, to complete the job.

Freshly made produce is the key to Vapiano and this is evident through the open pasta manufacture room on view for patrons, the fresh herbs at each table for

adding to meals, the herb garden utilised by the cooks and the live olive tree that is at the centre of a communal table upstairs.

These key elements alongside items like the chalkboard artwork and the black and white graphics create a quirky and inviting space with a memorable experience for patrons to take away.

The custom pendant with chalkboard art plus all chalkboard art throughout space were created by Di Emme Creative Solutions. The Hedgehog feature pendants are from Mance Design.

Furniture includes black Thonet chairs, Zanotta side tables by Space Furniture and turned sided tables in red by Cafe Culture. Leather to stools and banquette are by Pelle Leathers.
