For the past decade, Redfern has gone through some major renovations with a huge emphasis on hospitality and creative design. You cannot pass an aisle without finding a cafe packed with students and colleagues who appreciate venues that combine healthy foods, good coffee and who give back to their community.

With the exciting developments being made, Club Redfern reopened in November 2012 to serve the community.

The changing demographics and local landscape in and around Redfern made the board and management of Club Redfern look to the future which included a rebuilt of Club Redfern by the end of 2017. This included a complete aesthetic overhaul commencing with a replacement of all furniture, lighting and a colour scheme.

With that in mind, Anthony contacted Nufurn and requested for a Club Furniture Specialist to visit Club Redfern and provide furniture solutions that would meet their specifications.

To complement the aesthetic changes the club has brought in new caterers, Thomas and Patti from The Happy Gathering Catering. Thomas and Patti have extensive experience operating their own restaurants in Sydney’s China Town and Cronulla over the past 30 years.

A Club with a huge appreciation for its community and its people planned and executed the Club with incredible support from one another. The Board led by Chairman Cecil McQuillan worked together in all facets of the change and were over the moon with the results. The members of the club were just as happy with the finished product.
