Hot Black were engaged to execute a new lease of life for this existing cafe space, including both the internal and exteranl aesthetics, as well as the branding identity.

The inspiration for Arbor Cafe was to create an Indoor-Outdoor sense of space throughout.

The use of natural materials and greenery creates a feeling of openess and wellness. The materiality and colour pallet ensures the cafe appears brighter, lighter and vibrant – creating a welcoming environment. Recycled timber pallets were the inspiration for the joinery items and the name Arbor derives from the term used to describe a shady, outdoor alcove.
