Luchetti Krelle’s brief was to remodel an existing space into a family friendly Italian restaurant. Whilst offering a high calibre of food, it needed to be approachable and create opportunities for large gatherings; a space for groups and families.

Low ceilings throughout presented a restrictive feel in a large space. This was overcome by emphasising the newly constructed outdoor dining area and utilising a soft palette of colour and finishes. Mirrors were applied for their reflective appeal and high back banquette dining balanced the overall weight of the bulkheads above.

Stone and marble were used in a playful manner to create a relaxed atmosphere; an ode to Carlo Scarpa. Whilst embellishments such a checked tablecloths were printed onto the table tops and oversized lighting pendants placed each setting.
