Studio Nine Architects undertook an internal and external refurbishment on this existing part two-storey hotel in Victoria. Internally, this included a rationalisation of internal spaces, with a total new look for all bars, lounge areas and a new private function area.

The addition of a rear indoor/outdoor deck area allows for a visual interaction between the building and the adjacent streetscape. The façade was repainted and a new alucobond fin and horizontal awning above the new entry ties the existing building into the rear finishes adopted for the roof of the new outdoor / indoor deck.
