Hakata Gensuke just stepped foot in WA and opened it’s very first venue in East Victoria Park on the 15th of September 2017. We were delighted to be entrusted the responsibility with supplying the furniture for their first WA venue. The scope was to create an authentic Japanese ramen store, similar to the ones we see in Japan today. With that in mind, we fabricated custom designed dining chairs and low stools in Tasmanian Oak to suit complemented with comfortable cushion seats upholstered in heavy duty vinyl. Solid timber tables were used throughout with a massive 12-seater communal table to offer that very casual dining experience.

Hakata Gensuke is famous for their Tonkatsu Ramen and you must drop in to experience their authentic broth! Some say, they completely sold out of ramen on the opening days. And the queue was 2 hours long!
