For an intimate villas hotel in the spiritual heart of Bali, head to The Purist Villas and Spa. Nestled in the green fertile hills of Ubud, this little tropical hideaway stands out for its home away from home feel, leafy serenity, and a modern Balinese style.

The construction and design of The Purist reflects the ancient Balinese Hindu belief embracing the importance of balance, purity of spirit and harmony, as well as a deep respect for the natural environment. The design uses an eclectic palette of materials, including recycled wood, authentic Indonesian artifacts, natural lava and lime stone and green river stones.

Soaring bamboo stalks and leafy serenity surround The Purist Villas & Spa which comprises of seven modern villas (some with pools), which seamlessly blend indoor and outdoor living. Indonesian cultural treasures fill these neutral-hued home-from-homes.

The decor in all villas teams Balinese trinkets and soft furnishings with sleek, contemporary furniture and design. Timor Villa has hand-carved rough wood exterior and thick, antique floorboards. Garden Villa comes with the largest private pool. Hill Villa stands out as a quirkily decorated duplex with two bedrooms. For larger groups, the River Villas combine into one large residence, as do the Timor and Garden Villas.

With The Purist, the same owners from The Giri Residence in Ibiza and Ryad Dyor in Marrakech, succeeded in creating another hip and small boutique hotel. The word Purist stands for pure, unique, relaxing, irresistible, stylish, tempting.

The open-air restaurant is so tasty and situated in an antique house from Java, although most guests enjoy dinner at their villa or by the pool.
