Prototype was recently tasked with fitting out the newly opened Supply Specialty Coffee & Bar located in Coffs Harbour. Working directly with the owners, Prototype sought to create a warm and authentic aesthetic that would ultimately reflect their vision for quality, but with a friendly and approachable atmosphere.

A brand new addition to the Coffs Harbour coffee scene, Supply Specialty Coffee & Bar provides a delectable local menu and house brewed full-bodied coffee. With its blend of sweet and savoury tastes, Supply Speciality Coffee & Bar has definitely put itself on the map.

Prototype is well versed in custom-building furniture to suit a variety of commercial applications. Supply Specialty Coffee & Bar requested a number of custom items to mix with their artisanal coffee experience, which Prototype was happy to provide.

A total indoor-outdoor fit out was the focus of the design project. The venue emanates a wholesome essence with the understated tenors of the brick walls and wooden panelled floors a perfect compliment to the aromatic Supply experience.

Working in collaboration with the brother and sister team, Todd and Emily McCarthy, Prototype began the fit out, which saw two custom-built timber tables installed as key features of this new and contemporary design.

Prototype worked to truly represent the vision and character that Todd and Emily had envisaged for their café. This was a total fit-out, both indoor and outdoor.

Prototype supplied their minimalist high Transit stools along with their chic counter Transit stools and low Transit stools. These were complimented by seasoned oak indoor tables featuring a Sofia table base and Transit chairs. Volt stools and solid timber Warehouse stools were added as a finishing touch.

Nestled in the myriad of new furniture fittings was a custom-made high bar and two custom dining tables in solid European beech timber with a modern sled leg design to compliment Todd and Emma’s clean café concept. These were made to their specific specification and need, with the end result a true reflection of the service, quality and workmanship of Prototype.

For the outdoor space, Prototype supplied seasoned oak outdoor tables with compact laminate tops that were paired with white resonate armchairs.

With its fresh and minimalist fit-out, Supply Speciaity Coffee & Bar now has the ideal compliment to to its excellent array of home-brewed coffee and appetizing dining selections.
