Sebel Noosa is a luxurious seaside resort on the edge of the crisp clear water and soft sandy beaches of the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. The tasteful and tranquil Sebel Noosa is complete with picturesque views, extensive facilities, as well as gourmet local restaurants and cafés and stylish fashion boutiques nearby. The premier vacation destination indulges its guests in modern, spacious self-contained apartments within walking distance of world-famous beaches and rich hinterland.

Prototype were contracted to complete a furniture refurbishment on 75 rooms at the Sebel, Noosa. The brief included Prototype fitting out: the bedroom, dining and living areas as well as providing lamps, pot plants, and artwork as finishing touches.

Prototype were involved in three stages: suggesting design options, custom-manufacturing furniture and installing the end pieces for the project. The team went to great lengths to ensure client satisfaction on this project. Prior to its commencement, Prototype developed a full-scale in-house mock room, which was installed in the venue for stakeholders and decision-makers to experience the design.

The products for this project were entirely bespoke. Prototype crafted tranquil sleeping spaces complete with grid-stitched upholstered queen and king sized headboards, natural oak bedside tables in both single and triple draw varieties, white ceramic base with white shade lamps, custom daffodil and steam coloured custom cushions and wall hangings to complement the look.

Prototype also worked outside the bedrooms, filling dining space of the suites with custom-made dining tables in a natural light timber-look finish with co-ordinating custom dining chairs with sled legs and grey upholstered seats.

The living areas were also given the Prototype custom treatment with: fully custom upholstered sofa beds in commercial grade pale grey fabric, custom timber entertainment units in small and large sizes, solid natural oak top with powder-coated steel coffee tables and side tables, timber frame armchairs, white ceramic base table lamps, natural hemp floor rugs and plants.

Prototype was dedicated to maintaining the cool-casual, beachside bliss of the Sebel Noosa and ensuring the finest details of quality and service. Prototype used a calming, stylish, and neutral pallet for the resort’s rooms.
